non-security she was unable to lock the door at all until Sunday night when she told me about this story and i contacted her council and they came around within four hours and made the door secure which is what they should have done nearly two months ago minimum and the other thing is the council knows about her mental health and her various issues with security and anxiety and they haven’t treated her as a matter of urgency and that is wrong it’s okay to treat 17 year old single parents as a matter of priority but when it comes to mental health no one treats us with either respect or the priority we deserve and the law says we should get

no reasonable adjustments have been made in her case in accordance with 2010 equality act

no one has done anything from what i can gather to replace or apologize for the lack of speed in replacing the door which she did not damage, and it was not her fault that the emergency services broke it in

and quite frankly i am on a mission now I’m going through the councils one by one I’ve checked three so far my one Brighton hove and oxford city council they still haven’t replied to an email i sent five months ago so one by one i would be sending these questions by the resolver website and getting to find out how the equality act is being implemented it would be so much easier if an mp somewhere took this matter up in parliament and raised it as a matter of urgency there should really be an equalities officer or residents of local councils where you can take these issues too but there isn’t you have to go through people that are untrained in either customer services or mental health issues and a lot of the time they don’t even know what the 2010 equality act according to a phone call i recorded with my senior housing officer October last year he wasn’t even aware of the 2010 equality act so how the hell would he be in faults in it

anyway, I’m not going to keep this low just to say that i will give you an update blow by blow on everything that happens with Brighton hove council I’m hoping this is a one-off and that they will write back saying they’ve got a new door they’ve replaced it we’ve apologized to their resident, and they’ve got new policies and procedures in place to make sure this sort of issue never happens again

it’s not a lot to ask you’ve had 11 years to enforce the law

I’m not waiting anymore new year 2022 is the year of disabled rights to me the councils up and down this land in all four countries of the united kingdom need to pull together and enforce the rights that have been given to all citizens via the equality act whether they’re disabled rights gender race religion is a bit of a hit and mess with me as you will see in another video but if they’ve been given right in law local authorities have a duty to uphold them and i will be testing the local authorities on whether they are you have given been given fair warning next year I’m coming for you

I’m mainly addressing this now to residents in my community we have been mistreated abused and ignored for far too long now and it’s about time we all stood up and said no further we have right which Waltham forest council are stepping over disabled people myself included have rights which Waltham forest’s council are ignoring they even boast the fact that they only deal with physically disabled people on their website i have a screenshot of that if they want to take it down i still have a screenshot and it’s been up there for years have a search for Waltham forest and assisted collection and you will get to the assisted collection bin service page and on there it says this service is available for anyone that is physically unable to move their bins to the edge of the property physically unable they are discriminating against the mentally handicapped

mentally handicapped generally aren’t physically disabled they’re mentally disabled hence the protected characteristic under the 2010 equality act look up the 2010 equality act in section 149 even waltham forest quote section 149 because it’s the public sector duty of care and they’re supposed to reduce the amount of discrimination against people with protected characteristics assist in communicating with them and stamp out generally any discrimination whatsoever on any grounds there’s like 10 protected characteristics mentally disabled is only one physically disabled is another i can’t remember what all the other ones are but there’s an awful lot of characteristics oh um gender

sexual orientation and two others but i think there’s ten

so do let me know we need to sort this out because I’m fed up of disabled people being discriminated against in this borough and you know i am not unsadly i found that from the forum i am not the only one in this borough that is getting this treatment for instance I’ve been waiting six months for a tap to be repaired no explanation I’ve been waiting six months for an overpayment and compensation from May from the housing ombudsman be repaid and only this morning after the third um complaint i put in via is over everyone use resolver to log your complaints and questions because the council will not ignore you then I’ve logged my complaints by email and they’re treated as business as usual but when they come in through is over they get logged as a complaint so everyone i can’t emphasize this enough ignore the council’s portal resolver does everything for you it keeps track of the times as soon as they’ve had their 10 days it emails you and tells you do you want to escalate it and you just click yes and it comes up with i think it comes up with why do you want to escalate this blah blah blah and it just goes off to stage two you don’t have to ask them to send the stage to it goes to stage two I’ll put a link to his over down in the description and i think I’ve also put it up on my local community webpage as well but usually is over for all your correspondence questions complaints everything freedom information do it through resolver because if they put you under a single point of contact and don’t tell you like they’ve done with me then they have to still deal with your complaints in question

they’re making it sound like the winter of discontent in 1978. it’s funny really when you think about it because it’s exactly what labour we’re doing except it isn’t this isn’t the unions this is caused by greedy self-centred individuals that are panicked by a bit like they did last year with the toilet rolls I bet it’s the same people that got a house full of toilet rolls that they can’t get rid of and they decided to stock up we’ve actually seen footage of people using water bottles to put petrol in well one what the hell are the people managing the four courts doing because they’re not supposed to sell petrol to anyone using anything other than an official jerry can because plastic water bottles will be dissolved by petrol that’s why you have to use special things and isn’t it about time that individual companies put their foot down and said right no more than 15 pounds per car

or per card it should be not per car per card so the individuals can’t take more than they need I mean it’s almost to the point now we have to go on a permanent ration because there’s selfish people out there that want to do what they want to do and they won’t be told we had the same last year when we went into several lockdowns people would ignore it cyclists I’m looking at you especially but not just cyclists I’m allowed to exercise for an hour yet an hour within a mile of your home you know what bloody law said I really don’t care about these people anymore no one cares about me no one cares about each other

last time we had a petrol shortage thankfully my car was again in the garage my then car before I started buying decent cars I was buying cheap cars and they were breaking down all the time and mine was in the garage and I had no worries about queuing up petrol because mine was in the carriage when it came out the garage the petrol crisis was over thankfully this time around I haven’t got a car and apart from which wolf and forest council have locked me in my room for 16 months

it’s wrong for states or governments to legislate about basically the removal of a parasite because without modern technology most unborn babies would die even up to just before birth I mean like a couple of weeks before birth most babies would be unviable without modern technology and modern medication so up until that point they should be classed as a parasite and it’s up to the mother to decide what to do with the parasite whether she feels strong enough to have the parasite born or whether she isn’t and she needs help yes I do think there should be a date a cut-off on when you can have an abortion

but I don’t think it should be six weeks I think the woman needs a bit more time than that to come to terms with it can take some women almost eight weeks before they realise they’re pregnant some women never realize they’re pregnant until they give birth granted that is few but it’s wrong for the state to do this and thankfully President Biden he’s doing something about it I’ve not agreed with a lot of what he’s done over the last few weeks but this I fully support the president on he’s taking legal advice and seeking action against the state of Texas for passing this law because we all believe it’s unconstitutional even Texas themselves so it is unconstitutional and yet they’ve passed law knowing it’s going to be against the constitution they’ve put workarounds in to try and get around the constitution that’s not exactly American the world is supposed to be looking up to America as a moral lead supposed to be and yet over the last few years

there has been no moral lead in America

I think it’s about time that America woke up and realized that they are the role model to many countries of what life should be like and
