No, not Seattle, but East London. I thought I may as well get up and do something, so here we are. At least I haven’t destroyed this website for a third time in under 2 weeks!
This site is getting better. I have added or enabled more functionality and will try to keep this one a bit more up to date than my previous efforts at an online presence. My main focus is mental health awareness and campaigning for our rights. It has been 11 years since the 2010 Equality Act came into force, yet so many public bodies, including local authorities and Health organisations, ignore it. I intend to write to all public bodies to request copies of their policies on how they deal with the Equality Act and what policy they have to make reasonable adjustments. As I find them, I shall publish the responses, to name and shame all those who in 11 years, have not bothered. If there are exceptional responses, I shall praise the praise worthy ones. Sadly, in my experience, there will be few of them.
If you have mental health issues, please leave me a comment or send me an email via my contact form. I am always open to hearing from any fellow strugglers in this world. Together, we can make the world a better place, one day at a time.
