atheism is not belief in existence of god it’s precisely the opposite it’s the knowledge that you know there is no good for as we atheists say belief implies the non-existence of something for if existence relied on faith and not empirical evidence then there can be nothing to exist i’m not saying that everyone who has faith in a deity is wrong you can believe anything you want so long as that also allows for the belief in the tooth fairy santa claus pixies and the non-existence of god you see unless all beliefs are allowed then none can exist religions have existed for thousands of years and this in my mind is the evidence which explains why there is no good for we humans try to explain things we see just look at a group of infants still learning about the world until the world is explained to them they make up their own stories to try

and explain things around them just look at the tv show from the 80s called child’s play i’ve added a link to that show below there is another youtube channel called dark matter 25 25 which has lots of comical thought-provoking stories including ones relating relating to god comedy aside the videos about atheism and god do lend a pause for thought it does ask a lot of questions which people in kind society do not dare to ask personally i’ve never had a faith i always had to have evidence for something and for that to be repeatable maybe it’s something to do with my spurgeous syndrome i just find it hard to have faith in anything which demands you do not seek evidence of their existence for that denies faith rules are actually built into the stories to enforce this strange system if i were god then all other ones i would want people to know everything and for my existence to be proven from time to time which would encourage people to do what you say they should do if you take religion away and tell people about god nowadays with no historical context not many people would believe you it may still make a good movie or two but that would be it if you examine the writings of most religions it comes across as known more than trying to explain stuff around them without any knowledge but taking a good guess and creating a story around it to pass the knowledge on

Was Mohammed A Paedophile?

Let me describe someone to you. They are in their 50s, male
They have sex with children aged 9
And then the leader of the second biggest religion on the planet
Are their paedophile Muhammad is the leader the messenger of Allah according to Islam

And yet in the Quran their holy book
It describes Muhammad
Marrying Aisha at the age of six she was six he was late forties early fifties
And having sex with her at the age of nine
He also goes on to you now advise that you can beat your wife
You can punish her by sleeping with other people it’s all in the Quran
And men can virtually do anything to women
I have tried reading the Quran. I had a copy of the Quran here and I’ve
Tried reading it and is the most awfully written book I have ever tried to read
I’ve had to resort to online scriptures and translations
To me the Quran reads like
The made-up rantings of a sex-mad child molester
To go through to the title of this is Muhammad a paedophile
Technically no because in the Quran a paedophile is defined as someone who has
Urges lusts for the company of children well in the Quran it doesn’t describe that exactly
But it does describe what a child molester is i.e some an adult that has sex with a child
He’s technically a child molester
And this is the sort of person
That Islam looks up to as a role model he beats his wives he allows you to beat your wife
You’re allowed to have multiple wives you’re allowed to have multiple sex partners
As long as you call them slaves or concubines you could only have four wires, but it doesn’t
Say you can only have four women you sleep with no wonder why a lot of men
Choose Islam because it gives you so much more freedom than it gives the women
And there’s all sorts of abuses going on towards women in Islam and
Seriously why would any sane person want to follow religion that’s headed
By a prophet on earth a prophet on earth
That encourages men to behave so appallingly towards women it actually
States in the Quran that women are yours they have less rights than you it takes two women
To outvote or vote equally towards a single man a woman only has half the rights of a man
And a man that listens to the advice of a woman is a weak man according to Quran
I don’t know about you, but I think most mums are women and I don’t think they’re that week
But there we are you see is Muhammad a paedophile
No technically although nowadays under our code of conduct now
I think most people would consider him to have been a paedophile
But technically he was just a child molester
So do you want your children to look up to this man as a role model
That would be very strange in anyone’s book
Does make you wonder why Islam is followed by an awful lot of
Men and they drag their women with them by the look of it anyway I’m sure there’ll

What Is Religion?

An introduction to religion. The first in a new series on this channel.

Hello and thank you for coming to the first in a new series on this channel called Religion. It is going to be about all types of religion and beliefs. From every viewpoint, as far as I can do. Of course, being an atheist myself. It’s not going to be easy to be from the religious side of things, but I will do my best.

What is religion? The most common. Description of religion is the belief in a supernatural deity. With no evidence for its existence. And that is the crux. No evidence. There may be lots of stories written. And I don’t mean to be disrespectful to religions, but unless you’ve got evidence to support your stories. They are just stories. You need third party evidence. Outside of, for example, the Bible, so don’t use the Bible to quote the Bible or to support the Bible, you need another evidence. So for example, we don’t believe in the news. We know what’s going on. Because several news broadcasters are telling us more or less the same story.

So. We have multiple sources of evidence that the news exists. But God only has its own stories. You can’t use for example Islam to support the claim of a God of the Bible, because there’s no evidence for the claim of the God in his lamb. So that’s what I mean by evidence. It needs to be corroborated. Substantial. And repeatable. Okay, the news isn’t exactly repeatable cause it’s a time thing, but you can demonstrate that it’s existed because you’ve got multiple sources of evidence, not just written. You’ve got video evidence. You’ve got oral evidence. Lots of evidence. We’ve even got damaged buildings when it’s like wars and things like that. And the most reasonable explanation for what we see on the news. Is what the news tell us. Unless someone wants to come up with evidence of a supernatural being.

The other thing about religion is, especially under the Abrahamic tradition, God has a plan. God is all knowing, all seeing. Maximum powerful. Yet people pray to God. Even though that the praise a part of the planning theory and so. The praise will be ignored unless it’s part of the plan. So praying is pointless. And good. Made you pray to him because it was part of his plan, knowing that he would be ignoring it anyway. There’s so many paradoxes in religions. Islam, the Holy Prophet. Had sex with a 9 year old girl. And robbed caravans to support the terror attacks. And taking over Mecca. So hardly the sort of person you want to look up to. The Christian Bible supports slavery and rape. Oh, and genocide mustn’t forget the genocide. Catholics for a while believed in a man made purgatory, which is where babies went when they were christened. If they died before they were christened. And then the Pope back in the 1990s decided oh no, we made that bit up. It wasn’t really part of the Bible. It’s sort of like giving the game away boys. You would meet you mind I part of religion up so you might as well just come clean and say, well the whole of it had been made up.

If it was up to me, I would ban all religion. At least until the age of 18. And then. After indoctrination of logic and science, it would be up to you to decide. I would ban circumcision under religious grounds immediately. There’s no reason to abuse children in that manner. If you want to be circumcized later in life. So be it, that’s your choice. But to circumcise a baby. When there is no medical reason for it in my book, is abuse. And we should not tolerate it. I really don’t care what you mean. Sanctioned child abuse like that is just as bad as saying I take drugs cause it’s part of my religion or I rape young children because it’s part of my religion. No. Children should be protected. They are protected in law with exemptions for religious purposes, but why should they be exempt? What gives religious people anymore rights to abuse children? Than anyone else. What case religious people anymore rights to break the law than anyone else? The law is the law. There should be no exemptions. For religion, unless someone can come out and prove. The religion is true. And there’s evidence for it. You might as well just make an exemption for the author of Harry Potter. You really may as well. Say Harry Potter. Is exempt from all sorts of laws.
